What is Mothercare?

Mothercare to me is an encompassing term I use to describe the work I do. My work is adaptable and dynamic depending on the needs of the time. Mostly working for postpartum women and families, I provide, general house cleaning (vacuuming, laundry, dishes, organising, changing bedsheets), nannying, babysitting, and specialised postpartum care for the first 6 weeks including but not limited to personal assistant care, specialised postpartum cooking, moxibustion, belly binding, herbal support and bodywork.

Shifts range from 3-5 hours.

In Home Postpartum Cook

This works as an hourly rate, you provide the ingredients and your kitchen, and I do all the cooking (I can bring extra slow cookers if required). I can prep your postpartum meals for the freezer or you can hire me to cook you fresh meals in the tender postpartum window… which is incredible for your digestive fire in those first weeks. I can also provide ingredient lists, recommendations or recipe ideas if you’re new to postpartum foods. I love cooking with organic, local, seasonal produce and high quality meats.

I have specialised postpartum food training and years of experience working in food & organic cafes, this offering is also available for those journeying with chronic illness, grief, ADHA, Autism, painful bleeds, or burn out. I would be honoured to cook for you!
