    Maiden to Mother by Sarah Durham Wilson for matriarchal healing, understanding the maiden and mother archetypes

    Awakening Fertility by Heng Ou for the practical and traditional approaches to preconception care

  • Join my preconception writing circle, for just $30/month come together with likeminded women, who are also on a preconception journey, hear different myths, as I story-tell and prompt you through guided writing each month

  • Create a “for my future babies” or “fertile funds” saving account, putting $5-20 away each week, small steps for your future dream

  • Spend time in nature and a variety of natural environments even spend time with dogs, all these things diversity your microbiome supporting you in conception

  • Touch your body, self-massage, self-pleasure, get intimate with your physical body, stretching and moving, are all free! and will greatly support you in pregnancy, birth and motherhood. It breaks my heart how many women don’t even touch themselves.

  • Writing, a notebook and a pen, a simple way to get to know yourself more, there are also infinite prompts avaliable online, generate some with Chat GPT if you feel stuck or head to my preconception check-in-practice blog for prompts too.

  • Community gardens, for herbs for teas or making your own medicinal lotions or potions, yoni steams etc.

  • The bloody LIBRARY, an untapped resource, hold your women’s circle there for free! get books out for free!

  • Want to use less toxic household cleaning products? opt for vinegar, better for your health and is super affordable

  • Want bodywork? Community clinics offer bodywork that is more accessible and affordable.

  • Therapy - There are many affordable, or community-free counselling services available. Having someone to talk to or receive reflections from is valuable, for creating awareness of your patterns and behaviours in preconception.

  • On Centrelink? Lacking financial literacy? ANZ offers a Saver Plus program that helps you start saving, they’ll even match how much you save and give you 5 sessions of financial guidance calls too.

  • Band together with some of your friends to buy the basics in bulk, do your meat orders together, bulk grains, or staples. Have days of cooking up ghee and bone broths together.
